DZ Driver

Cardinal Health, with over 1,300 employees in Canada, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.

We are looking for positive and team-oriented DZ Driver individuals to join our Mississauga Distribution Centre to support our Transportation team on a 6-Month Contract, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with the ability to return home after a completed shift. Join our Transportation team to make an impact by receiving and delivering medical products as well as fulfilling orders while servicing clients in the Health Care industry.

Location: 1330 Meyerside Dr, Mississauga, ON L5T 1C9

Hourly Rate: $24.00

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (6:00am-3:00pm), flexibility is required

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:  

  • Provide vital and timely deliveries

  • Responsible for loading the trucks on the site and unloading the deliveries off at the customers’ sites

  • Ensure on a daily basis all customer requirements are delivered in an efficient and professional manner

  • Operate all equipment within compliance of Ministry and Cardinal Health Canada’s safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class DZ with air brake license and a clean abstract, with at least 1 year of driving experience

  • Enjoy working in a team environment, customer service oriented with great communication skills

  • Comfortable with physical work and can manage/push carts with lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Possess knowledge of Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Regulations

  • Proficient with technology (Electronic Logging Device - ELD, Omnitracs 1, computer systems, etc)
