Job Summary

This position leads operations such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and product supply, working in collaboration with other departments to achieve business objectives. There are also many opportunities to work with planners and staff from other departments not only in Japan but also at the US headquarters and in other countries, particularly within the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop optimal plans for demand forecasting, inventory, and supply management that align with business strategies.
• Collaborate with related departments such as QA, RA, Marketing, and Sales to enhance planning accuracy and promote operational efficiency.
• Design and improve KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and propose and implement mid- to long-term improvement initiatives.
• Engage in process and system improvement projects, independently designing and executing optimal approaches.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must

• Approximately 5 years of experience in areas such as supply chain planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting
• Proven track record of leading projects and delivering results
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese

Preferred

• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience with AI/ML tools (e.g., forecasting models, optimization algorithms, generative AI), or a strong interest in these technologies
• Extensive experience in supply chain planning with some exposure to AI/ML tools
• Even without professional experience, individuals who actively use AI tools in daily life and have a strong interest in the field

ポジション概要

本ポジションは、需要予測、在庫最適化、製品供給等の業務をリードし、事業目標達成に向けて他部署と連携し業務を進めます。国内のみならずUS本社、APACを中心とした他国のプランナーや他部署のスタッフと協働する機会も多くあります。

職務と役割

• 需要予測、在庫、供給管理に関する業務全般において、事業戦略と整合した最適なプランを策定する。
• QA、RA、Mktg、営業などの関連部門と連携し、計画精度向上や業務効率化を推進する。
• KPIの設計・改善、根本原因分析を行い、中長期的な改善施策を提案・実行する。

必須要件

• サプライチェーン計画、在庫管理、需要予測などの領域で5年程度の経験
• プロジェクトをリードし、成果を創出した実績
• 他部署と協働して業務を進めていけるコミュニケーション力
• 英語・日本語ともにビジネスレベル

歓迎要件

• Power BI、Tableauなどのデータ可視化ツールの使用経験
• AI/MLツール（予測モデル、最適化アルゴリズム、生成AIなど）の利用経験、または強い興味
• サプライチェーン計画領域の豊富な経験を持ち、AI/MLツールに触れたことがある方
• 業務上使用経験はなくとも、AIツールを日常的に活用し強い興味を持つ方
