What HR Services contributes to Cardinal Health
The HR Services team is responsible for general employee inquiries as well as the management of employee data and efficiency of HR data transactions and processes.
- Accountable for leading the People Data Assurance team responsible for transactions in Workday related to job changes, compensation changes, terminations, and other data changes within the system.
- Collaborates with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to execute enterprise-wide programs and solutions that impact team processes and/or the employee experience.
- Consult with and provide guidance to employees, managers, and HR teammates regarding adherence to company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
- Uses knowledge of global HR processes to support inquiries from all employees and managers (including support functions such as HR & Legal)
- Accountable for completing teammate assessments; provide escalated support and respond to inquiries.
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedures/local work instructions for new and/or modified HR programs, technology, or policies impacting the employee experience.
- Defines and operates within service level agreements.
Responsibilities
- Leadership Responsibility:
- Has accountability for all People Data Assurance requests that are submitted via the Workday Inbox or myHR.
- Provides tactical and strategic leadership for their team.
- Provides performance feedback, coaching, mentorship and leadership development to team members.
- Responsible for the selection, interview and hiring process for team members.
- HR Process Acumen / Improvement:
- Uses knowledge of HR processes and HR acumen to complete employee requests.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of customer service protocols and empathy for the personal circumstances of employees.
- Customer Experience / Metrics:
- Resolves escalated HR process and policy inquiries.
- Responsible for achieving Service Level Agreement (SLA) and business performance goals.
- Monitors operational performance and ensures team is staffed appropriately for anticipated work volume, while forecasting capacity requirements.
- Compliance
- Ensures complete protection of employee data and complies with all data privacy processes and regulations.
- Develop, update, and maintain process documentation and LWIs.
- Collaboration:
- Partners extensively with Business leaders, HR teammates, and COEs to process accurate employee data, coach employees, manage complex cases and minimize risk to Cardinal Health.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 4+ years experience in related field, preferred
- Critical eye for detail and appreciation for data accuracy and integrity
- Effective track record of demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Proven results on driving employee engagement
- Uncompromising commitment to stakeholder and employee satisfaction
- Effective ability to provide clear direction quickly and on-demand
- Proven successful ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and effectively handle daily planned and unplanned operational activities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with both customers and team members
