What IT Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Quality Control analyzes and inspects Information Technology products and processes for compliance with internal and external specifications and standards. This job family collaborates with IT Project Management, Business Integration, and Application Development & Maintenance teams, among others, during implementation and integration projects to proactively identify compliance requirements and risks. Quality Control also conducts regular audits and develops and communicates new quality control procedures for the function.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Test Lab Lead who has excellent automation skills across web, API, mobile and can lead and manage all executing proof of concepts and part of our Test Management office (TMO). This person is expected to work hand in hand with the CoE Lead and drive Quality Assurance (QA) Automation transformation initiatives.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software-related discipline.
· 5+ years as a software automation tester with DevOps experience.

Mandatory Skills:
· Strong experience of working with different platforms, Web applications, API, Mobile (Android, iOS experience is a plus).
· Design & development skills in any high-level language.
· Hands-on experience with multiple scripting languages.
· Ability to develop scalable test automation frameworks and write automated test scripts based on defined test cases, including the definition of test data for consumption by scripts during test execution.
· Strong DevOps skills, including CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with Test Management Office leads to drive QA and automation initiatives.
· Review and enhance automation frameworks and testing tool requirements to support projects.
· Assess various tools available in the market and select the most suitable ones based on organizational needs. These tools include monitoring, self-healing, automation frameworks, and more.
· Integration & deployment: Ensure seamless integration of tools into existing infrastructure. Deployment involves configuring, installing, and maintaining tools across various verticals.
· Monitoring & reporting: Oversee real-time monitoring of IT infrastructure and applications using tools. Generate reports on performance, incidents, SLAs, etc.
· Automation & orchestration: Ensure effective and efficient use of automation tools. Orchestrate complex workflows and processes. Must have experience in scripting, Python, and other automation tools. Focus on reducing manual work/tasks.
· Facilitate and support multiple projects by providing guidance, training, and reusable frameworks.
· Leverage AI-driven analytics, predictive maintenance, and automated incident resolution.
· Continual service improvements on tools deployed. Focus on cost reduction.
· Vendor management: Collaborate and negotiate with tool vendors for contracts and licenses. Regularly apply tool patches and updates.
· Training & support: Train internal teams and provide support whenever required.
· Security & compliance: Ensure security and compliance are met as per requirements.
· Good hands-on experience in managing and monitoring applications and related configurations.
· Handle SLAs, info security, availability, capacity management, and continual service improvement.
· Assess the operational and functional baselines of the organization and its supporting systems.
· Prepare status reports and deliver presentations on infrastructure operational improvements effectively using tools.
· Work proactively to get feedback from operational teams to improve the operational performance of the delivery units and the processes using tools.
· Ensure that operation management policies, standards, and procedures are properly implemented, enhanced, and maintained, including training, incident reporting and resolution, problem management, metrics collection, performance reporting, trend analysis, and Continuity of Operations (COOP).
· Maintain system protocols, knowledge base, SOPs, and other documents by enforcing traceability, updating procedures, and analyzing system and program changes.
