What Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to Cardinal Health

Nursing is responsible for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care. Examines patients and administers prescribed medications to facilitate healing and increase comfort. Nursing requires training and or licensed to care for patients.

Licensed Vocational Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses deliver basic patient care, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to care for patients, including those diagnosed with cancer.

This position will give you the opportunity to work closely with our team of Radiologists.
 

Responsibilities

  • Take vitals and room patients

  • Assist during medical procedures

  • Request and obtain necessary clinical documents for patients' chart

  • Organize examination rooms

  • May assist in verifying patient insurance, assist with voicemail and returns calls accordingly

  • Communicate with providers, staff and patients.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of solid LVN experience, required

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program. 

  • Possess a valid LVN license required

  • Bilingual Spanish highly preferred

  • Must have experience with Medical Terminology - reading and writing skills

  • Ability to multi-task a fast-paced work environment

  • Must be available to work a M-F work schedule

Anticipated hourly range: $21.20 per hour - $35.03 per hour
