What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and design of Legacy ERP (FACTS) solutions for procurement, accounting, pricing, contracts and rebates, chargebacks, supply chain, master data.
- Develop, test, manage and support Legacy ERP programs with Business Basic (BBx Pro5)
- Follow/enhance the existing coding/testing standards set by the team
- Automating functional/regression testing
- Closely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goals.
- Accountable for IT Controls, SOX compliance, and Audit findings on the FACTS platform
- Responsible for the KPI's and BPM metrics that support current and future Harvard Major Rugby and FirstVet business units.
- Support the integration with other applications like EDI/CRM/iContracts/Manhattan Active/Manhattan SCALE/Websites/Salesforce/SOVOS(Tax)
- Partner with Business Analyst to help build process diagrams
- Build detail documentation on current FACTS programs, HLD documents, implementation documents based on standards.
- Stay updated on the latest Business Basic advancements and recommend upgrades or innovations
- Closely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goals
- Closely work with infrastructure teams to ensure a reliable and stable operations
- Serves as a liaison between the organization's businesses analysts and IT systems development teams to help build design/process documents.
- Analyzes business needs, defines requirements and objectives, and develop/enhance solutions
- Documents relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
- Translates business requirements into application requirements
- Partners with business leaders and project teams to identify business needs and deliver solutions
- Enables business units to achieve their operational and commercial objectives
Qualifications:
- Experience operating in an Agile environment (Scrum)
- Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA), practices and processes
- Extensive experience developing ERP applications using Business Basic (BBx)
- Extensive knowledge of best practices Business Basic (BBx) development.
- Experience building automated regression testing suits.
- Experience building automated test data generation solutions.
- Understanding of business processes and how they apply to ERP and other solutions
- 8-10 years of Business Basic (BBx) development experience preferred
- Experience with Database technologies, MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres etc.
- Experience with Linux (RedHat) and cloud technologies (Google cloud/AWS)
- Experience with SAP functional or legacy ERP migration to SAP RISE would be a plus.
- General knowledge of IT and business relationships and the importance of maintaining the balance
- Possesses the aptitude to learn new applications
Anticipated salary range: $94,900 - $135,600
