On-site Representative I, Contracts and Billing Admin. Support

This job is performed daily in an onsite in office setting - Twinsburg Ohio facility.

What Contract and Billing contributes to Cardinal Health

Contracts and Billing is responsible for finance related activities such as customer and vendor contract administration, customer and vendor pricing, rebates, billing (including dropships), processing charge backs and vendor invoices, developing and negotiating customer and group purchasing contracts.

Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.

Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.

Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.

Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.

Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.

Responsibilities

  • Open, sort and distribute inbound mail
  • Open and sort inbound business replies
  • Index documents into document storage system (Onbase)
  • Update Marketing Consent status in the system (RGH)
  • Bill secondary claims from Quadax 
  • Update addresses from returned HCFA claims mail 
  • Add missing information (codes etc.) on HCFA claims and mail
  • Process Customer and Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) credit card payments
  • Work database tickets out of Access  
  • Distribute Misc. Billing Faxes from workflow queue in Onbase
  • Mail Patient Consent (PA) projects as needed
  • Other administrative duties as determined by business need
  • Supports (RCM) Revenue Cycle Management Analysts who work remotely

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
  • Prior Administrative support experience preferred
  • Prior work in medical facility dr. office, hospital, etc. preferred
  • Prior data entry work or database work preferred

  • Anticipated hourly range: $16 per hour - $16.50 per hour
