What Field Sales Admin/Ops Gnlst contributes to Cardinal Health
Responsible for developing, quantifying and evaluating the transformation of internal and external information into business intelligence (includes: data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting) and, for identifying, creating and implementing processes that profitize, optimize and support the entire field sales organization (includes: customer contract implementation, contract compliance, strategic field sales resource deployment, on-boarding and basic training) to support the strategic objectives of the sales organization, drive operational excellence and maximize contract value.
Location: Targeting candidates in Cleveland, OH area. Position requires on-site customer visits a few days per week.
Accountabilities
- Identify opportunities to drive additional package volume – identify supplier account numbers (SANs) where vendor not shipping through program, convert direct FedEx/UPS outbound users to OptiFreight website, arm customer with information on Refused Vendors
- Act as liaison between customer and OptiFreight for all transportation needs
- Manage weekly billing files
- Manage and report performance data to appropriate levels within customer organization
- Partner with customer to identify, develop and support freight program processes and goals
- Provide first point of contact for all customer inquiries, support requests, and issue resolution
- Support customer’s freight program goals through freight analysis and optimization
- Identify and address cost-savings and/or cost recovery opportunities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer, peer group and vendors
- Facilitate discussions between customer and courier vendor
- Manage courier route adds, edits or elimination
- Provide financial analysis on proposed changes to validate savings
- Assists with other tasks or projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors preferred
- 2+ years transportation/logistics/supply chain experience
- LTL knowledge beneficial
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and meet position requirements with minimal supervision

Anticipated salary range: $56,200-$80,400
