What Territory Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.

Territory Management is responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.

Job Summary

The Consultant, Territory Management – Non Acute is responsible for generating new business, closing business, setting up accounts, and maintaining relationship with clients. This job is a sales representative knowledgeable about the non-acute product portfolio. The job is also responsible for distribution and order processing for their clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develops client pipelines and cultivates existing and new relationships with clients.
  • Conducts data analytics and analyzes the market penetration on products both in new and existing clients. Responsible for identifying areas for development.
  • Assists distribution order support and coordination as needed.
  • Coordinates pre-call planning with sales support staff and delegates data collection to Operation Team members.
  • Determines prices offered to the client based on client Group Purchasing Agreements, finding suitable and cheaper alternatives if necessary and also determines rebate eligibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Minimum 4 years related sales experience, preferred
  • Proven product knowledge in business area
  • Must be experienced with business development and cold calling
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrate history of high achievement and coachability through new challenges
  • Ability to travel as needed (about 4-6 overnights a month on average)
  • Valid driver's license

Anticipated pay range: $115,000 - $125,000 (includes targeted variable pay)
