What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality Control is an and very important role in a medical organization. This position is expected to drive continuous improvement by peering with manufacturing department. The Supervisor, Quality Control role will be involved in process (CDPs) changes, new equipment validation, efficiency projects. Additionally, is expected to work with the complaints team to analyze the process for those failure modes that affect more the customer. The is expected to have problem solving skills and be able to own CAPA related to product issues. In general, the Supervisor Quality Control role position is expected to analyze projects from the regulation requirements considering engineering tools. This approach also facilitates the early determination of trends in non-conformances and complaints reducing the spread of defects through time and non-conformances.


Job Summary

The Supervisor, Quality Control coordinates and supervises the analysis or inspection of products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards. This includes setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion as well as using knowledge of testing methods, products usage and applicable regulations and standards to review investigations and deviations and ensure results are consistent with acceptable testing parameters.

Responsibilities

  • • Responsible for the administration and quality assurance of the production and routing area, complying with applicable procedures.
    • Development and release of Presource products.
    • Administration of the Product Inspection System.
    • Administration of the QSR Process Audit System.
    • Compliance with applicable procedures.
    • Support and Development of CAPA projects.
    • Investigation and response to Customer Complaints.
    • Administration and monitoring of EDHR and NCIs errors.
    • Support to other departments (training, monitoring and analysis).
    • Non-Compliant Product Administration.
    • Support for doubts in the Union.
    • Support to the Operational Excellence group.
    • Disciplinary System Control.
    • Head Count Administration.
    • Safety and Environment Support.
    • Comply with quality policies and compliances


Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Experience with ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001
  • Experience with Quality Assurance
  • Yellow / Green Belt
  • Advanced English
