Sourcing Manager - Procurement, Asia Pacific

Responsibilities

  • Manage APAC supply base in Fluid management, Urology, Surgical Essential, Thermal, ICA and etc. be COU lead in APAC to support category PLM strategy and implementation.

  • Proactive leadership and management with cross-functional partners to effectively select suppliers, RF(x), evaluation, contract negotiation, cost mitigation plans for tariffs.

  • Develop and responsible for category supplier diversification plan to drive the diversity across cost, quality and supply chain

  • Drive annual cost savings through effective strategies and negotiations. Ensure sourcing commitments and company KPI’s for cost (type 1), cash flow improvement, quality and delivery are met.

  • Ensure consistent application of sourcing procedures and processes.

  • Participate in project management process, drive product change request, qualification and validation process to minimize supply risk and on time new product launch.

  • Develop relationships with suppliers focused on total cost of ownership, advantaged supply chain, innovation and continuous improvement in managed category.

  • Responsible for category and support cross-functional communications on project delivery in VIP and NPI on cost, timeline, quality and supply chain.

  • Lead supplier Review Meetings with cross-functional team to measure, track and manage supplier performance.

  • Support and execute global procurement strategy with Global Category Lead.

  • Influence business decisions to enter/exit product lines, drive make/buy decisions and implement supply in optimizations.

  • Creates collaborative business plans with strategic suppliers, develops negotiation strategies, and directs the execution of strategic program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master, Chemistry, Polymer Materials and Engineering,

  • 8 years Strategic Sourcing function in multinational Company

  • Experience in medical device or related industries preferred

  • Fluent English and Mandarin communication to cover China Market

  • High Fluency in Microsoft office skills – Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

  • Strong project and process management to execute supply strategy for assigned categories with cross functional teams.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain processes to support supplier selection and performance management.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at various levels of expertise on a global landscape

  • Adaptable and comfortable in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment.

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment to deliver cost, quality, and service results in time manner.

  • Project management and finance analyst experience would be a plus.

  • Quick learner, self-motivated, detail oriented & full of ownership.

  • Willing to travel at least 25% for business purposes (domestically and internationally).
