Senior Sourcing Specialist APAC

Summary

Manage APAC Supply Base of Finished Goods in Softs categories. Responsible for end to end  Strategic Sourcing role, working with cross functional team in local region and US HQ, including but not limit to Supplier Performance Management and Strategic sourcing project implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a Pan-Asian supply base with assigned categories to deliver best-in-class product cost, quality, service, compliance, and innovation for Cardinal Health branded products for North American and Canada markets. 
  • Identify potential suppliers and their capability for best cost and quality performance.
  • Drive total cost improvement project and meet assigned annual target.
  • Gather supply market intelligence and data analytics to support the development of category strategy.
  • Develop and execute global procurement strategies to achieve best in class value, sustainable productivity, and high levels of quality and service aligned to applicable product category strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners in strategic sourcing project execution and management to effectively select suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and manage supplier performance and relationships. 
  • Participate in project management process, drive product change request, qualification and validation process to minimize supply risk and on time new product launch.
  • Continuous assessment of supply risk and create a robust supply base. 
  • To comply with company business ethnics and procedure and perform responsible procurement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Science or engineer or equivalent preferred
  • Medical device industry is preferred.
  • Experience of glove product project sourcing is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience Strategic Sourcing role, in multinational company or global environment.
  • Solid Strategic Sourcing capability, experienced in End to End Sourcing scope: Supplier Scouting, Supplier Selection, Contracting negotiation, Should cost, Negotiation, On boarding, Life Cycle Management, VA&VE, execute Sourcing strategy with cross functional teams.
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and cross function team in Asia & US.
  • High Fluency in Microsoft office skills – Excel/Word/PowerPoint is a must.
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Quicker learner, self-motivated, detail oriented & full of ownership.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment to deliver cost, quality, and service results in time manner.
