R&D Engineer Process & Application

  • Research and development of new process and application of advanced concepts and technology related to R&D for new products development, by delivering equipment prototype and scale-up, process and product solutions to latex or synthetic rubber glove manufacturing line. 
  • Work with the external research collaboration partners (eg licensing associates etc) and internal R&D and technical communities for implementation of new process and application to gloves manufacturing and new product development.
  • Support the Senior Principal Engineer and US R&D Engineering Follow for technology and engineering exploration and transfer.
  • Work closely with Product R&D, Equipment Engineering team for new process and application evaluation and realization. He/She will be working with peers for generating patent portfolio for new process and application technology.
  • Develop Intellectual Property (IP)/patents and preparation of relevant documentation.
  • Work closely and be the local technical interface with US R&D advanced technology group for technology transfer, development and realization.
  • Assist and support Director, Manager and Engineers to manage Gloves R&D related project/initiatives.
  • Work with local universities, Rubber Research Institute and other external partners on technologies and engineering that compliment R&D work.
  • Provide effective project management to ensure appropriate procedures of design controls of new products are followed.
  • Coordinate with various parties including contract manufacturer to execute activities of the assigned projects.
  • Execute laboratory studies and production trial runs to prove out new technologies.
  • Performed technology validation and work with Products R&D group for new material technology realization.
