VantusHQ Release Operations Lead

The Vantus Operations Lead is responsible for working with the cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate and facilitate Vantus software deployments across supported environments. Release Operations lead are expected to use a software and agile develop mindset to solve planning, risk, and manage dependencies across multiple teams and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ Years of relevant experience in Schedule Iteration/Release Management ceremonies
  • Engineering in Computer science / related field or Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Experience working with and implementing systems and cloud automation.
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies, solve problems through automation, and improve relentlessly.
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Own and Schedule Iteration/Release Management ceremonies
  • Create/Maintain Release Calendar
  • Work with internal and external teams to document potential impacts to releases (Downtime/etc)
  • Participate in the creation of T-Minus Plans
  • Work with SRE team to identify code that should be moved through environments.
  • Communicate Iteration/Release migration status.
  • Manage Release Management RAID logs.
  • Schedule/run Go/No-Go meetings.
  • Work with ATFs to get updates on Iteration/Release preparations; manage release risks.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements.
  • Work hours overlap EST (12pm).
