Director, Product Marketing - Pharmaceutical

The Director of Product Marketing - Radiopharmaceuticals is responsible for lifecycle management of the product portfolio (40+ products), including MPI, FDG, Lymphoseek® and CORE radiopharmaceuticals. Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies; evaluating product performance and making recommendations to drive revenue and OE; managing commercialization activities such as positioning, promotion and sales enablement; executing market research to inform strategy; and managing and developing 2 direct reports.


  • Perform market research and gather customer insights and internal feedback on new and existing products.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive organizational profitability (revenue, OE, share)
  • Differentiate product offering versus competition to drive price premium and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with support functions (e.g. marketing communications, sales, operations, manufacturing, training, finance, and quality and regulatory) in the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Monitor, evaluate and measure the success of marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns.
  • Manage product commercialization activities such as positioning, promotion (campaigns, tradeshows), and sales enablement (sales training, tools, national & regional meetings).
  • Monitor competitive intelligence and develop counter-competition strategies to address competitive threats
  • Evaluate new business development opportunities, respond to RFPs and create commercialization plan recommendations
  • Collaborate with training to achieve learning objectives with sales teams
  • Develop and manage project plans to complete work on time and on budget
  • Negotiate with and manage relationships with outside vendors
  • Coach, counsel, manage and develop direct reports
  • Champion and lead change initiatives


  • 5-7 years of healthcare marketing/brand/product management experience
  • 5-7 years of working with sales and business development to achieve revenue objectives
  • 3-5 years people management
  • 3-5 years of leading marketing strategy development and execution
  • 2-3 years in sales, sales management and/or business development role
  • Strategic marketing background (product launch, market opportunity sizing, 4 Ps)
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Polished presentation skills; ability to create PowerPoint presentations to articulate business recommendations
  • Agency management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of business development practices and procedures
  • Excellent project management of large complex projects
  • Strong, collaborative leadership skills and experience working in a “matrixed” environment 
  • Experience managing market research projects
