What Inside Sales contributes to Cardinal Health

Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. The sales cycles will tend to be simple and short-term in nature and may or may not lead to a long-term customer relationship. Can sometimes be viewed as telesales.


  • This position is about 85% processing and 15% inside sales 
  • Must thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate with a variety of different touch-points (patients, manufacturers, insurance providers, and doctor's offices)
  • Logging into a phone queue daily to assist new customers with their diabetic needs
  • Passionate about helping patients in the diabetes space
  • Ability to implement previous sales or customer service experience
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Willingness to learn


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Min 2 years sales experience is required
  • Ability to travel less than 25% of time
  • Valid driver's license
