Role will be based in Dublin, OH. Looking for a candidate local to Columbus who can work a hybrid schedule!
What Credit contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Credit is responsible for managing Cardinal Health's trade and note receivables including performing credit underwriting, establishing bad debt reserves, managing customer relationships, collaborating with the sales and collections teams, managing credit risk for the company, and administering credit policies and standards.
This is a hybrid role that does require some in office presence each week.
Responsibilities:
- Support Credit Managers in various credit underwriting and risk activities
- Provide detailed credit risk analysis and prepare leadership facing summaries on complex/larger new and existing customers
- Perform detailed financial statement analysis utilizing various type of financial statements
- Make trade credit decisions for new and existing customers, both secured and unsecured
- Communication and collaboration with both internal and external customers to make various credit decisions
- Partner with collections team to drive management of AR portfolio and mitigate risk
- Communicate directly with internal and external counsel, customers and third-party entities to appropriately mitigate credit risk
Qualifications
- 3+ years B2B credit experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Anticipated salary range: $66,500-$94,900
