What Transportation contributes to Cardinal Health

Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

Qualifications

Internal

  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Currently a B3, B4 or P1
  • No DAs, Not enrolled in PIP within the last 12 months
  • Not within a prescriptive period
  • Has not applied to the same Job family in the last 6 months
  • IJP qualified

External

  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in related field,¬†Logistics, shipping or warehouse management would be an advantage
  • Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Applies basic concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks
  • Works on projects of limited scope and complexity
  • Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems
  • Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions
  • Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
