What Payroll contributes to Cardinal Health
Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.
Payroll processes the organization's payroll according to company policy and applicable regulations, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and timely with correct withholding and deductions. This job family maintains payroll records and calculates overtime, shift payments, sales commissions and bonuses, taxes and deductions. Payroll prepares reports for management and to meet regulatory and collective bargaining obligations and addresses questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in Philippine payroll
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field
- Experience with Workday Payroll / Workday Timekeeping
- Experience in any ticketing tool, i.e. Service Now

- Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve
- Applies judgment within defined parameters
- Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects
- Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy Executes specific functions of payroll processing such as but not limited to, short term disability payments, mass pay of earnings and deductions, timekeeping, validation and auditing of payroll data while operating within SOX and operational controls
