What Security contributes to Cardinal Health

Security implements measures to safeguard the company's assets from circumstances and threats that would cause harm or loss.

Security ensures the credentialing of visitors, provides surveillance of the company's facilities, enforces regular security standards and procedures, responds to security crises, and manages relationships with security vendors.

Job Summary

  • The advisor, security is responsible for the maintain the physical security infrastructure, including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection devices.  
  • Responsible for collaborating with internal/ external teams on the design and implementation of new security infrastructure for Cardinal Health nuclear manufacturing sites.  
  • Will act as the local security expert partnering with Global Security and local management

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for physical security infrastructure in Indianapolis, IN including security vendor management at Cardinal Health nuclear manufacturing facilities.
  • Partners with Global Security and Facility and Security Technology Teams
  • Responsible for signing off on security vendor maintenance and installation making sure they meet site/Corporate security requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate trainings pertaining to Security as needed.
  • Act as facility security coordinator.


Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
