The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Shift Details:

  • Monday - Friday

  • 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

  • Position will require flexibility depending on business needs and to train employees

Responsibilities:

  • Perform warehouse responsibilities for a medical distribution center

  • Execute training programs and curriculum specific to department functions

    • New Hire Training

    • Transfer employee Training

    • Cross-functional department training

    • Maintain and update the training matrix

  • Work with Site Champion to roll out training received from the National Training Manager

  • Act as a liaison, fielding questions and issues from associates as related to the business or training

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Must take a Material Handling Equipment training class to administer equipment certifications to employees

  • Ability to work flexible hours and to train new employees during any shift hours for at least 2 weeks

  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong interpersonal skills (patient, calm, inclusive, mentor, teacher)

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Exhibits and practices positive communications and team building skills with trainees to ensure a consistently professional environment

  • Previous leadership or trainer experience preferred

  • May also require material handling equipment certification

  • Demonstrates basic material handling, packaging, warehouse equipment skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility

  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications

  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues

  • May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments

  • Adheres to all quality guidelines

  • Works with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor

  • May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members

  • Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate training needs
