Cardinal Health is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join us in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Reporting to the Director, Western Logistics Operations, the Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, managing, and coordinating of activities related to their team within a fast-paced facility. This role will focus on coaching and developing a team of 12 members. Through teamwork and collaboration, this role will ensure the achievement of all targets including safety standards, quality standards, department budget, productivity levels, and customer service levels.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:
Driving continuous improvement methodology throughout the facility to simplify processes and improve efficiency
Manage department budget and work on initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining high level of quality & productivity standards
Managing teams assigned to inventory control and support corporate internal and external audits
Planning future capacity requirements by data analytics of trends and make recommendations to the Director
Working with Director in analyzing staff needs, and ensure proper training
Actively coaching on performance management and applying corrective measures, as required
Motivating, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
Ensuring all Health & Safety rules are met and support preventive measures to improve overall H&S standards
Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Participating in Supplier / vendor reviews and projects
Providing frequent communication and feedback to the team
Participating in and leading cross-functional projects for the Western Region or Nationally
This Job might be for you if:
You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role in Supply Chain or Distribution, preferred
You have a college degree in a related discipline such as Supply Chain Management or Business Administration, preferred
You are experienced in managing business processes and leading large groups of individuals
You have strong leadership, motivational and influencing skills
You make Health and Safety in the workplace a priority
You established communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) with the ability to communicate strategic concepts effectively
You enjoy working in a high-pressure environment, being adaptable and flexible
You use information technology to access, analyze and qualify operational data
You have advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office tools)
You are energetic and able to respond quickly in a changing fast-paced environment
