Territory Manager, Acute Distribution

Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking a Territory Manager, Acute Distribution who will be responsible for uncovering opportunities and driving sales throughout a specified territory in the Acute Care Hospital market in the Greater Toronto Area. Geography consists of Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Halton ON. The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing strong relationships across multiple stakeholders, developing and coordinating customer specific plans that provide integrated Cardinal Health solutions and develop business against specific products and focused suppliers. Your Contributions to the Organization will be to:  

  • Create and implement strategies and tactics to achieve both short and long-term business objectives that are aligned to achieving mutually beneficial goals of both the Customer and Cardinal Health.

  • Prospect and align with Healthcare Service and Solutions Team on creating customer value

  • Budget, forecast, track, develop and enhance territory profitability.

  • Maintain complete product knowledge and serve as an added value resource to our customer base to distinguish CHC from its competitors.

  • Forecast sales opportunities both monthly and quarterly to achieve targets.

  • Work in close collaboration with various manufacturers and their reps as required

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing the distribution footprint

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing specific Cardinal Brand products and focused suppliers.

  • Represent Cardinal Health and coordinate solutions to customer needs on behalf of Cardinal Health. Lead account planning amongst a diverse Cardinal Health Commercial team.

  • Work collectively with multiple Cardinal Health departments to drive projects and customized customer solutions. This may include putting together conference calls, business reviews, leading all customer related activity, and holding others accountable for deliverables that impact projects for our customers.

This Job might be for you if: 

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 4-8 years related experience across a variety of business functions which could include Sales, Marketing, Contracts, Project Management and/or Consulting

  • A demonstrated track record of sales success, and experience driving growth through territory and account management.

  • Proven leader in delivering results, solving issues and working in a collaborative environment.

  • Healthcare Market and Product Distribution Industry knowledge required

  • Strong Business and Financial acumen

  • Highly effective contract management, negotiation and time management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.com

  • Travel required within GTA
