What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.

Quality Control is responsible for the analysis of raw material inspection or materials, components, products or processes inspection for compliance with specifications and standards.

Job Summary

The Supv, Quality Control coordinates and supervises the analysis or raw material inspection of products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards. This includes setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion as well as using knowledge of testing methods, products usage and applicable regulations and standards to review investigations and deviations and ensure results are consistent with acceptable testing parameters.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures results are consistent with acceptable test method/parameters and reports abnormal findings of raw material Incoming Inspection processes.
  • Oversees contractors who operate Equipment, Perform, interpret results and documents findings in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees and authors written procedures and other documents, including amendments.
  • Leads and facilitates the development and validation of new methods as needed in alignment with ICH requirements.
  • Performs technical review of investigations, NC's, Stock checks, Use as is, SCAR's, deviations and CAPAs
  • Trains, assesses and coaches team in procedures, techniques and career development as needed.
  • Responsible for Attended internal and external audits
  • Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels


Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • Experience of ISO 13485:2016
  • Bilingual
  • Receiving / Incoming Inspection processes
  • Supplier management
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • knowledge of supplier Selection / Evaluation processes
