Student Warehouse Associate

Cardinal Health, with over 1300 employees in Canada, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.

We are looking for positive and team-oriented individuals to join our Vaughan Distribution Centre. Join our Operations team to make an impact by receiving and stocking medical products as well as fulfilling orders while servicing clients in the Health Care industry.

Location: 300 Applewood Crescent, Concord, ON L4K 4E5

Hourly rate: $20.60

Working hours: Sunday (10AM - 6:15PM), Monday and Friday (Part-time) 

Contract Duration: 6-months contract (24 hours per week)

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:

  • Process all incoming or outgoing shipments and stock orders to designated locations

  • Ensure accuracy and verify quality of products being picked and received

  • Operate all types of warehouse mobile equipment; training provided

  • Sort packaged materials and process items for recycling

  • Follow company health and safety guidelines and policies

  • Ensure a clean and orderly working environment to improve overall efficiency of operations

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives

Qualifications:  

  • High School diploma, preferred

  • Comfortable with lifting 10lbs - 30lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs

  • Machine operations and RF scanners experience, preferred

  • Operate with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), training provided

  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and being active while working

  • Attention to detail while producing work with high accuracy

  • Work in a team environment where strong communication skills and quality control are crucial
