What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and  life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.


Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Product and Solutions Marketing is responsible for the marketing of products with a focus either on customer audience or product line. The Customer Audience focused role is responsible for upstream and downstream marketing for segment products and the Product line focused role
is responsible for marketing and the P&L for the assigned product. The job will largely work with larger organizations for the distribution of products but may also work with smaller locations in different regions.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts and analyzes market research studies to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.
  • Develops strategic marketing plans for specific product(s).
  • Implements strategic marketing plans downstream within the Cardinal Health organization.
  • Coordinates marketing plans with external marketing agencies.
  • Aligns internal sales team with designed go-to-market message.
  • Oversees the functional management of direct reports including but not limited to career development, succession planning to meet the organization's needs.


Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Experience in Enteral Feeding and Wound Care preferred
  • English Advanced
