Maintenance Analyst

What Operations Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring machine and raw material readiness
  • Providing line support during sample production
  • Coordinating lab testing activities and collating results for review by the engineers
  • Ensuring proper tracking and disposal of chemicals, raw materials and finished samples
  • Providing detailed reports to the engineers on observations, anomalies and other inputs from the trial / validation runs.
  • To responsible for Safety in the workplace and safety of direct report staff (if any)
  • To responsible for monitoring and evaluating direct reports (if any) for compliance to workplace safety and environmental policy
  • Emphasize company environment health and safety rules and regulations to employees and ensure compliance

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience, preferred.
  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field, preferred.

  • Applies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks
  • Works on projects of limited scope and complexity
  • Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems.
  • Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions.
  • Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
  • Manager Plus daily, weekly and monthly management of work orders.
  • Direct contact with potential contractors and currents 3PL services.
  • Serve as back up knowledge of access control, CCTV and Fire Suppression system.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD drawing.
  • Highly Organized and Detail Oriented.

Anticipated hourly range: $18.00 per hour - $28.00 per hour
