Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans, and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares, and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department offers strategic partnership and unbiased guidance to business units. It spearheads cross-functional efforts to provide forward-looking, actionable insights that focus on driving strategic value and influencing key business decisions.
The FP&A Manager position will be a key member of the Channel Partnership Markets Finance team as well as the Finance Leadership of the Hybrid Markets, supporting the Mexico, Colombia and Iberia commercial organizations within the International Medical Products and Distribution business unit, reporting to the Channel Partnership Markets Finance Director.
This position will be the finance business partner for the General Manager of the Hybrid Markets, leading all aspects of Finance support, including close & reporting, forecasting, budgeting, strategic financial planning, business case development, deal modeling, and other ad hoc analysis.
This position is based in our Mexico City office.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Required Skills
- Act as finance business partner to the General Manager of the Hybrid commercial operations, providing insights and support in all finance related topics, including full P&L ownership.
- Lead a team of four in country finance and accounting colleagues in Spain, Colombia and Mexico
- Lead the quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic financial planning processes. Ensuring alignment between all financial plans and commercial strategy.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization (Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, Accounting etc).
- Build cross-functional businesses cases to drive additive value creation in the Hybrid commercial operations.
- Provide deal modelling support by assisting business partners in all aspects of commercial agreement appraisal to allow for informed decision-making which is aligned with profitable growth strategy.
- Liaise with Corporate Accounting, Tax and Treasury teams, driving alignment between different parties and ensuring execution of in country finance and accounting requirements.
- Governance of the financial close process, overseeing business partner outsourcing (BPO), logistic service provider (LSP) and external accounting firms to ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual results, with a comprehensive understanding of key variance drivers providing strategic insights to the business.
- Maintain financial controls to ensure the safeguarding of our company’s assets and compliance with all relevant internal and external policies and regulations.
- Promote excellence through a culture of continuous improvement in our process and key business inputs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related areas.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 6-10 years’ progressive experience in FP&A or a related field.
- Business partnering and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish: Fluent (read, write, speak).
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel Skills), knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP preferred.
- Aptitude for BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Ability to work in a highly matrix environment.
- Ability to successfully establish processes in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders.
