The current team is structured into the following three pillars;
Growth & Strategy Design (Top line impact, eCom. Transformation work): Development of and implementation of strategic plans based on internal, market and competitive analysis insights and the identification of and driving growth opportunities.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Digital Strategy Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of B-2-B e-commerce transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in e-commerce website design and development, combined with a strong strategic business mindset. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in leveraging digital platforms to drive growth, customer engagement, and operational excellence within the technology or pharmaceutical industries. This is a pivotal role requiring someone who can think strategically and execute tactically to deliver measurable results, within the first pillar.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
Define and execute the digital strategy for b2b e-commerce platform to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and competitor opportunities in the B2B e-commerce space and recommend innovative approaches to enhance customer experiences and business outcomes.
Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives and e-commerce strategies.
2. E-commerce Website Design & Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the B2B e-commerce platform's functionality and user experience (UX).
Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve customer journeys and checkout processes.
Work with IT teams to incorporate emerging technologies, such as AI-driven personalization and predictive analytics.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and business teams to deliver a seamless, customer-centric digital experience.
3. Business Analysis & Strategic Planning:
Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer behavior studies to inform digital strategies.
Translate business needs into actionable roadmaps and initiatives, balancing short-term priorities with long-term vision.
Work with cross-functional teams to align digital strategy with broader organizational goals.
4. Project Management & Execution:
Lead and drive cross-functional teams to deliver digital transformation projects on time and within budget.
Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the performance and success of e-commerce initiatives.
Coordinate with IT, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of digital projects.
5. Customer Experience Optimization:
Continuously improve the e-commerce experience by leveraging customer insights and analytics.
Leverage CRM and marketing automation tools to nurture leads and deliver personalized experiences.
Analyze customer data and feedback to create targeted retention programs and loyalty initiatives.
Implement personalization strategies, advanced search functionalities, and streamlined checkout processes to boost conversion rates.
Drive omnichannel integration for a consistent customer experience across platforms.
6. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and project outcomes.
Deliver presentations and updates to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to drive decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, Product Design, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
5-8 years of experience in digital strategy, product design, or e-commerce growth, preferably in a B2B environment with a strong focus on transformation preferred.
Experience in e-commerce website design, development, and optimization, ideally within the technology or pharmaceutical sectors.
Proven success in leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
Experience working in a growth relevant area, such as onboarding, implementation/ feature adoption, user Acquisition
Familiarity with product experimentation & Experience fostering collaboration with multiple product teams.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g.: Figma, Lucid, Sketch) and analytics platforms (e.g.: Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Tableau).
