    The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

    Qualifications

    • 2-4 years of experience preferred
    • High School Diploma/ GED preferred
    • Strong interpersonal skills, while working both independently and collaboratively
    • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience with standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and various systems
    • Ability to navigate through various inventory systems preferred
    • Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse
    • Ability to work overtime as required

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor inventory levels continually and run reports to analyze product movement and expiration data. Including ‘expired product report’, ‘product data change report’ and ‘sales order recon’
    • Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory to maintain established accuracy goals.
    • Evaluate quantity discrepancies, quality issues and exceptions both inbound and outbound, and enter issues into database
    • Perform root cause analysis with various cross operational teams
    • Research and reconcile daily inventory variances, and daily/monthly/annual reports
    • Contact manufacturers to identify and resolve any issues and, as necessary, escalates the issue to Supervisor or Manager
    • Monitor and manage expired product, customer returns and transfer of product
    • Perform additional inventory management functions as required

    • The Senior Coordinator, Inventory Management analyzes existing inventory and resolves inbound discrepancies in order to drive the operational efficiency of warehouse operations. The Senior Coordinator validates inbound shipments, places electronic orders, creates standard inventory reports and forecasts, and leads regular cycle counts. By ensuring the quality and efficiency of inventory management, this job contributes to customer satisfaction and minimizing the facility’s expenses

    What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health

    • Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
    • Members of the QIC team will analyze existing inventory and resolve inbound discrepancies in order to drive the operational efficiency of warehouse operations – which can include validating inbound shipments and leading regular cycle counts. By ensuring the quality and efficiency of inventory management, this job contributes to customer satisfaction and minimizing the facility’s expenses.
