Associate Product Specialist, Medical Product

Location: Seoul, Korea
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager


Position Overview:

This Associate Product Specialist will be tasked to achieve / exceed the sales and profit targets within a designated territory.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the role will be responsible for developing long term positive customer relationships, which build loyalty and confidence in the Business, promoting Medical Product Business Cardinal Health to be a preferred supplier.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work within and actively promote Cardinal health core mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures (Foundation list) and Code of Conduct.

  • Responsible for managing sales, gross profits, and achieving financial objectives for assigned products within assigned territory.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans.

  • Achieve sales goals and objectives.

  • Conduct sales calls (medical professionals / dealers) to promote, sell and service Cardinal health products to existing, and potential customers.

  • Complete administrative reporting as assigned, such as Expense reports, updating Account profiles and Analysis, Daily / Weekly plans, and Activity reports, Monthly forecast, Database, and inventory log.

  • Provide on-going field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in market, distribution, pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features.

  • Cost effectively manage time and company assets.

  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge.

  • Provide technical back up and follow up, as required.

  • Organize marketing activities such as seminars and customer meetings as required.

  • Regularly update customers on product performance.

  • Train and educate both existing and potential customers to gain market share.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in medical device company. Fresh grads are welcome to apply.

  • Ability to absorb complex technical information and communicate in simple terms to others.

  • Ability to teach and educate medical personnel on product features and benefits.

  • Willingness to learn technical information.

  • Fluent in Korean and basic English communication.

  • Ability to travel, approximately 25% of the time.

  • Driving license is required to perform job duties.
