What Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) contributes to Cardinal Health

GFSS is responsible for core financial operation processes. This can include customer and vendor contract administration; customer and vendor pricing, rebates, billing vendor chargeback research and reconciliation; processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports for payment; fixed asset accounting for book and tax records; cash application; and journal entries.

Responsibilities in this Role

  • Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, accounting policies, systems, controls, and work streams.

  • Demonstrates experience working in a transactional finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.

  • Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.

  • Works collaboratively to respond to non-standard requests

  • Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field, or equivalent work experience preferred

  • 4+ years' experience in related field preferred

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Mangement of multiple supplier accounts

  • Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives

  • Completes work independently; receives general guidance on new projects

  • Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives

  • May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

*This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 2 days/week in office.

Anticipated salary range: $66,500 - $94,900
