What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison for internal and external stakeholders to Cardinal Health’s third-party service provider (offshore) for Accounts Payable.
  • Responsible for the finance transactions related to our Indirect Expense with a primary focus on OptiFreight®, including invoices, credits, uploads, and requests from internal and external teams.
  • Handling level 1 escalations for scope of work, both internal and external.
  • Monitoring the team’s service level and other performance health metrics.
  • Assisting in developing new reporting and analytics with a focus on improving efficiency and to provide a more in-depth view to overall process health.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities, including functions that can be automated via Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or other technology solutions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 4-8 years of finance related experience, preferred
  • Proficiency in analytical tools like Excel/Macro, PowerPoint, Tableau, preferred
  • Experience with SAP, preferred
  • Strong people influence and leadership skills, preferred

Location

  • Hybrid role
  • Ideal candidate will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule - coming into the Dublin, OH office 1 day a week and working the other days remote

Anticipated salary range: $67,500-$96,300
