The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring timely and effective implementation of all company’s policies, procedures, and activities involved in assuring the quality of packaged products. The Supervisor maintains close working relationships with other department managers and supervisory personnel in order to meet and maintain product quality, identify, solve and prevent problems affecting product quality, maximize productivity, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Manage team of Quality Technicians and Quality Specialists who are responsible for the day-to-day floor operations.
- Applies and enforces GMP in all areas of responsibility and ensures compliance across the facility.
- Drives quality and productivity to meet Customer delivery requirements and financial commitments.
- Participate in Investigations. Works closely with Operations and QA Management to document investigation and deviation reports as needed.
- Oversees and monitors the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in a testing process.
- Create and revise standard operating procedures, forms, and other documentation.
- In partnership with quality management, leads processes driving on-going continuous improvement of Customer satisfaction, compliance, safety, and quality.
- Assist in serialization operations such as verifying orders in the warehouse management system (WMS) and sending orders to the designated serialization line.
- Gather data for applicable metrics and perform trend analysis.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education or Equivalent: Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years’ Quality experience required.
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
- Must be open-minded, decisive, and flexible.
- Must have knowledge of packaging processes and equipment.
- Must possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal staff and management.
- Must have proficient computer skills including MS Office and spreadsheets.

- Must be very well organized, detail oriented and possess ability to multi-task.
