Sr. Maintenance Technician

Schedule:

S-Th, 10:30pm - 7:00am

What Production Set-up & Maint contributes to Cardinal Health

Sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for inspecting, repairing, replacing, installing, adjusting, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical equipment.  
  • Utilize schematics, manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and implement positive solutions to prevent re-occurrences.
  • Perform all preventative maintenance tasks and procedures as assigned
  • May train or mentor other employees as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years related work experience and/or training

  • maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
  • Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgement in resolving issues
  • May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments
  • Adheres to all quality guidelines
  • Works with limited supervision. Work occasionally involves review of output by work lead or supervisor
  • May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
