What Operations Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Facilities Maintenance ensures the reliable operation of the organization's facilities. This job family refurbishes and performs preventative maintenance and repairs to company facilities. This job family may also manage contractors that provide facility maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for scheduled and emergency maintenance needs
- Basic maintenance duties, racking and conveyor projects and monthly testing of security and temperature monitoring devices.
- Provides front line security services for facilities and support for various contractors and building projects.
- May requires overtime, varying shift schedule and occasional after hours emergency response.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Related experience preferred
- Certified MHE operator, or be willing to train for certification required
- Good math skills preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $17.60 per hour - $22.76 per hour based on experience
