What Learning Development and Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Learning develops, deploys and evaluates learning solutions to support employee development and build organizational capability in alignment to business strategies. This function analyzes learning needs and develops training curricula, technologies, and programs. This function also manages trainings provided by third parties and partners with leaders and subject matter experts within functions and business units to deliver learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in customer service, call center industries, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in facilitating training in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Experience in the healthcare segment is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, engagement, and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications to create and display reports and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and conducting learning needs and skill gap analysis.
  • Strong project management, consulting, facilitation, influence, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record of interacting with all levels of leadership.
  • Passion for learning innovation and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Highly motivated, creative, self-sufficient, able to operate effectively with a team.
  • Willing to work on a hybrid set-up and during US business hours.

What is expected of you and others at this level

Learning Delivery:

  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual training tailored to HR and IT service center employees.
  • Evaluate courses and administer training processes specific to HR and IT functions.
  • Coordinate training schedules and conduct course evaluations to ensure alignment with HR and IT business objectives.
  • Apply classroom management and facilitation techniques to various situations within HR and IT contexts.
  • Provide feedback on course design and content to the Instructional Design & Development (IDD) team.
  • Provide feedback to class participants and business leaders in HR and IT.

Learning Design and Development:

  • Identify learning needs and develop training curricula, technologies, and programs for HR and IT service centers.
  • Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, guides, and job aids, tailored to HR and IT service centers.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from HR and IT service center team members to continuously improve training content and delivery methods using metrics and KPIs to measure success.
  • Provide guidance and suggestions on learning initiatives that align with HR and IT business goals.
  • Maintain L&D skill sets and provide innovative solutions tailored to HR and IT service centers.
  • Participate in training program reviews, monitoring and evaluating with HR and IT leadership to ensure training objectives are met.

Business Liaison:

  • Act as a liaison between LD, HR, and IT business units, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Establish connections with HR and IT business leaders and SMEs to ensure alignment, identify performance gaps and recommend learning solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure programs are meeting their objectives, project timelines and delivering value.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to HR and IT service center leadership on the status and outcomes of training programs.
