Our $12B Global Medical Products and Distribution Segment manufactures and distributes Cardinal Health brand products across the globe.

What “Project Manager” contributes to Cardinal Health

As a project manager, you’ll play a critical role for supporting the projects and services for Commercial IT in Japan by closely working with local/regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and designing cloud-based applications.
  • Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with company guidelines/best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
  • Ensure the quality and on time delivery of projects.
  • Act as bridge between local and regional/global teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide regular status, anticipate challenges, communicate dependencies, issues, and risks.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to provide consistent and collaborative delivery.
  • Closely work with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure proper sizing exercise is done and ensure solution performance meets defined SLA’s.
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture and Cardinal Health Global IT teams to resolve any technical complexities during development.
  • Closely work with other functional teams and ensure adequate, proactive involvement of IT team in solutions and service delivery concerns.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Japanese is a must.
  • 5+ years of experience in software management cloud-based applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
  • Proven ability to analyze business requirements and create detailed technical designs.
  • Experience in investigating and resolving production issues.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for learning & continuous improvement.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge on Atlassian tools such as Jira, confluence.
  • Certifications as a GCP or AWS cloud architect.
  • Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and related data stores such as SQL, Oracle, Postgres.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an international team environment.
