Inside Sales Manager

Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1300 employees nationwide, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead our Inside Sales Team in Vaughan Ontario. Under the direction of the Sr. Director, Non-Acute Sales this position is responsible for leading a sales team of 9 sales representatives to achieving revenue and margin goals above market growth rates, hiring and developing sales talent, and developing high level relationships with top customers.  Keys to success will demand creating a culture of effective and efficient Inside Sales process, leading and coaching selling skills, meaningful use of data and technology and continuous improvement in system understanding. The Inside Sales Region Manager will need to collaborate with Field Sales leadership, Customer Success Associates, Directors of Strategic Accounts, and various marketing groups that also share product responsibility.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:  

  • Building and maintaining positive culture of accountability while driving high performance through sales activities, performance metrics and enhanced sales process
  • Leading and coaching effective selling skills, and customer management capabilities to meet and exceed sales objectives and customer expectations.
  • Executing on sales strategies created by leadership to drive sales revenue to meet or exceed the market growth requirements for assign products and market
  • Assigning sales objectives to sales representatives, evaluating performance and taking all necessary steps to exceed the region, division and company’s goals
  • Driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to achieve business objectives and selling objectives
  • Accountable for talent management process and communications within region; includes selection, onboarding, performance management, diversity and inclusion
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback for sales team; participating and overseeing development plans for direct reports and executing performance improvement plans as needed
  • Inspiring confidence, promoting vision and purpose, motivating sales team
  • Engaging in meaningful business relationships with top Inside Sales customers, including key Corporate Accounts, Integrated Delivery Network Partners, and key distributor partners
  • Collaborating with cross-function departments in Cardinal Health

This Job might be for you if you: 

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree
  • Have three to five (3-5) years of documented sales success, preferably sales leadership
  • Demonstrate leadership experiences
  • Have prior sales management, organization and/or supervision skills preferred
  • Showcase excellent knowledge and skills for sales and sales leadership
  • Able to understand, analyze and create solutions to deal with complex and undefined issues
  • Possess strong business and financial acumen
  • Show superior presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Possess ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to conduct briefings with leadership
  • Possess the ability to establish, retain and capitalize on relationships with customer influencers
