What Field Sales Administration/Operations Generalist contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for developing, quantifying and evaluating the transformation of internal and external information into business intelligence (includes: data acquisition, mining, analysis, data integrity management, metrics management and reporting) and, for identifying, creating and implementing processes that profitize, optimize and support the entire field sales organization (includes: customer contract implementation, contract compliance, strategic field sales resource deployment, on-boarding and basic training) to support the strategic objectives of the sales organization, drive operational excellence and maximize contract value.

The Consultant, Commercial Enablement role supports our HME Account Management sales team. This role will work alongside key sales reps to partner in providing support to our HME partners. We strive to delight our customers and promote a positive experience for receiving care in the home.


  • Partner with our Account Management sales representatives to provide quality support to delight our customers.

  • Demonstrate strong issue resolution skills, working cross functionally internally and with our customers

  • Manage internal and external communication independently with ability to prioritize requests with a timely resolution

  • Consistently develop and execute standard work

  • Actively pursue opportunities to improve customer experience

  • Support key commercial initiatives and projects from a commercial enablement perspective

  • Completes work independently


  • Bachelors in business or related field, preferred

  • 3-5 years of general business experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Experience with Tableau and Salesforce, preferred

  • Ability to work through change
