Agile Team Facilitator (ATF)- Software Engineering-SAP

Accountabilities: 

  • Facilitate Cohort events (Squad of Squads) such as Cohort Increment Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Solution Demo, Cohort Inspect & Adapt, etc.
  • Teach/Participate Cohort Leadership Trio in the managing Product roadmap and progress tracking using Jira & Jira Portfolio plugin
  • Guard squads to help them focus on business value, coach Product Management, and Product Owner in ways to enhance the clarity of intent.
  • Partner with people managers to provide the competencies and skills needed to enable the environment for results.
  • Coach Squad ATFs within Cohort to foster the flow of value delivery
  • Facilitate/Collaborate Cross-squads and cross-cohorts impacts and risk management
  • Facilitate/ Coordinate the integration of Squad’s Increment within Cohort
  • Guide Agile Team Facilitators on impediments removal
  • Partner with Product Manager, Product Owner, and Service Delivery Managers to ensure awareness of Total Cost of Ownership, and balance the prioritization of technical debt and SRT fixes.
  • Encourage interactions and collaboration with Chapter Squads and Legacy Waterfall teams to foster value delivery
  • Encourages and enables open and honest communication among the Squads, including the Product Owner(s) & Product Manager
  • Situationally applies the values and principles of both agile and lean in practice
  • Ensure Cohort events are effective and achieve its desired outcomes
  • Coach Employees on Operating model at scale
  • Help organization towards empiricism and culture of continuous improvement
  • Coaching the team on estimation and planning methods and help team to choose right estimation methods and support them during the Product planning activities.
  • Partners with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects.
  • Collaborating with US-based teams to India based team to provide SAP FI functional, SAP Basis, and SAP ABAP App Dev capabilities for projects, continuous improvement initiatives and run support

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in Software Life Cycle with Application Development/Enhancement background sole contributor in one or more SAP areas
  • Strong experience and understanding of Agile methodology
  • Ability to coach/train others on Agile best practices
  • Experience acting as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach
  • 5+ years’ experience in Agile Execution, SAP functional and/or technical background is preferred
  • Good project management and follow-up skills
  • Experience acting as a servant-leader

Agile/Scrum Certifications a plus
