What Revenue Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating and leading the execution of business strategy and customer profitability through providing analysis, insight, and recommendations toward pricing strategy. This position is within our Compliance Team within Revenue Management, supporting Cardinal Brand products. High exposure and high accountability should be expected.
Candidate Expectations

- Proven ability to multi task; managing multiple projects, while responding to ad hoc inquires, and maintaining scheduled deliverables.
- Collaborate across functions with Sales, Product Marketing, Finance, Brand Services and within our larger Revenue Management organization.
- Engage all levels of leadership as a pricing subject matter expert as well as an influencer towards organizational needs and interests.
- Energetically contribute towards innovation and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to work with little direction, developing projects and self-determining priorities of work and cost benefit analyses.
Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance opportunities are identified and executed efficiently in accordance with Cardinal business unit strategies
- Quantify potential benefit driven by compliance initiatives and align with finance to forecast
- Build partnership and trust with the sales field, marketing, and finance teams; ability to communicate effectively across the organization with business partners regarding profitability improvement opportunities and key pricing insights, while being comfortable when challenged
- Engage with all levels of leadership (Directors and VPs) as a pricing subject matter expert as well as an influencer towards organizational needs and interests.
- Collaborate and provide direction to implementations teams to improve pricing consistency and compliance
- Ad hoc pricing support as needed
Qualifications / Skills Required
- Data management / manipulation skills – SQL / Data mining / or Advanced Excel required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and advise all levels of team members.
- Solution oriented mindset driven by natural curiosity. Collaborative and creative drive.
- Strong self-discipline for accountability, accuracy, and client service.
- Confidence and comfort in ambiguity.
- Self-initiative with strong discipline to deadlines / project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance / economics/ math or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in a FP&A, Pricing or Analytical/Strategic role.
