The Pharma/Corp SAP RTR Software Engineer will provide solutions and operational support for the RTR business processes for the Pharmaceutical business segment (Nuclear, ParMed, Brokerage, SPD, and Pharma Distribution (PD).
Will be responsible for:
Accountable for translating business needs into functional and technical specifications, building or enhancing the overall solution, testing and deploying quality work products for various business units.
Excellent data analytical, requirement gathering, and communication skills are required
Ability to build and enhance standards, policies, best practices, technical artifacts as required by the business in the RTR functional areas
Configure SAP systems within the SAP FICO module along with working across all FICO sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, FA etc..
Develop finance solutions that enhance and extend Cardinal Health’s investment in SAP.
Understand configurations and coding within SAP
Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility.
Proficiency with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies and work through the SDLC lifecycle.
Ability to network with key contacts outside the area of expertise and other departments on technical matters
Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks in order to meet SLA’s in accordance to urgency of open cases
Integrate banking solutions into the ERP system
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with the business and technical developers
Providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
Develop highly effective working relationships with other IT and Business teams within and across business units through flawless execution and open, honest, direct communication.
Have an enterprise perspective and help others to understand broad implications of decision making.
Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
4+ years experience in related field preferred
Working knowledge of two or more technologies preferred
Understanding of ERP solutions ideally SAP
Configure SAP systems within the SAP FICO module along with working across all FICO sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, FA etc..)
Ability to understand how to work through configurations within SAP
Strong financial understanding and the ability to support RTR related activities
Strong understanding of FICO
Experience within accounting and or finance along with any background in banking integrations
Strong communication skills verbally and written

Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
