MED EIT Organization has a new budgeted role for a Senior Software Engineer. This new associate will be located in the Parkwood location in Dublin, Ohio.


• Act as a solution architect in proposing solutions to improve the global supply chain inventory planning strategy while lowering TCO (total cost ownership)

• Breaks down complex business problems, perform effective analysis to develop and evaluate options and recommend solutions

• Lead Build-to-Support knowledge transitions

• Lead onsite and offshore team in day to day activities concerning the IT support

• Guides team members with priorities and tasks lists

• Proactively identifies and fixes issues by raising awareness and seeks alignment

• Manage work across multiple teams or projects with little oversight

• Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities to grow team skills

• Responsible for client communication tailoring the message per audience

• Present deliverable status updates to IT/Business leadership as required


  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years experience in related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of three or more technologies preferred
  • Proven leadership ability preferred
  • Expert knowledge of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) with focus in Demand, Inventory, S&OP and Control tower modules. Response module will be a plus.
  • Good understanding of SAP HCI (Hana Cloud Integration) tool
  • Minimum 7+ years working in inventory planning systems (APO, IBP, Manugistics, etc).
  • Expert knowledge in business inventory planning processes
  • SQL knowledge
  • Hana studio knowledge will be a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP (ECC & S4) materials management module.
  • Experience in writing business cases for funding requests on a medium to large scale SAP projects
  • At least 1 full life cycle implementation using ASAP methodology
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Proficient PC skills; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Good understanding and implementation of industry and SAP best practices

Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.
  • Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
  • Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
  • Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
  • Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
  • Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
