Accountabilities in this role

· Contribute to development of product launch plans, forecasts and marketing strategy for Interventional Solutions product lines for the Cardiology and Closure device space

· Gather customer requirements and support recommendations for existing and potential new cardiology products, as well as product enhancements through both primary and secondary market research efforts

· Interact with physicians, clinicians, sales force, and R&D staff regarding new cardiology products and product enhancements

· Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding cardiology product trends, technology shifts, reimbursement trends, regulation changes and related market activities through in-depth review of research reports, technical and trade publications/journals, trade show attendance, association meetings and customer visits

· Establish and oversee tracking of financial objectives, including product line growth, profitability, market share, product life cycle and internal performance metrics

· Analyze the competitive product environment for the market, including understanding pricing, promotions, product offerings, and market approaches

· Guide problem resolution to meet customers’ needs to resolve quality, delivery or inventory issues

· Participate in R&D design process meetings

· Develop sales training materials and tools for sales force

· Collect and analyze information on competitive cardiology product offerings, including features, pricing, and warranty parameters

· Execute innovative marketing programs to drive revenue

· Support sales of Interventional Solutions devices

· Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel on technical matters related to Interventional Solutions devices

· Provide regular updates to management regarding project status, as well as other critical issues which affect the attainment of project completion dates

· Complete accurate and timely marketing documentation

· Develop and implement procedures, files, records, and follow-up systems to ensure marketing processes are managed in a well-organized and timely manner · Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 8+ years experience in related field, preferred.
  • 5+ years recent experience in cardiology and/or closure device product marketing with a focus on product launch
