Why Is This Role Critical? nH recognizes the vital role providers play in enhancing our service delivery to the member. A highly engaged provider network is critical to ensure members receive the right care at the right place for the right amount of time. The Senior Network Specialist is key in engaging our provider network and works under the direction of the Network Manager with support other Market and enterprise Leadership by creating high quality reports and provider facing materials in a uniform manner. The Senior Network Specialist’s primary function is to ensure Network Managers have the behind the scenes support required to allow for a high degree of engagement and interaction in the field. The Senior Network Specialist works to validate and QA network outputs, assists with the prompt resolution of provider questions and concerns, and coordinates ongoing engagement meetings.

What you will be accountable for….

  • Serve as support for local Network Manager in maintaining existing relationships with providers
    • Run dashboards and other analytic reports to share with customers and providers
    • Update metrics and capabilities for all providers in the region
    • Track open records at each facility, and help direct care coordinators in obtaining the clinical information needed to close them out
    • Assist health system and plans to maintain accurate participating provider lists as indicated
    • Assist Network Manager and Market Leadership with network resolution.
    • Identify areas for improvement and work with internal staff to develop standardized and consistence processes to improve provider engagement.
  • Once deemed competent to interpret and present dashboards, does so at the SNF facility level.
  • Supports the ongoing development of provider facing materials and interfaces with the internal Marketing department on key projects Act as resource to assist with scheduling provider consortiums and other on-going provider meetings
  • Responsible for obtaining and maintaining accurate provider information within the Master Provider Database (MPD) and working with Network Operations staff to ensure accuracy or our market data.
  • Possession of key competencies - strong analytical skills, effective problem solving, and decision making. Strong partner to all market colleagues and leadership.

What you will need to be successful in this role….

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  • 3-5 years in a customer facing or Account Management role preferred
  • Experienced in managed care, health plan operations in provider contracting, customer service, or provider relations
  • Effective negotiation skills and implementation/influencing skills
  • Ability to build and foster relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize work
  • Willingness to work toward team objectives
  • Data analytics and reporting experience important
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Significant travel may be required
