Data Population Sr. Software Engineer

Overview: One of 2 Technical Leads reporting to the Data Development Manager, responsible for data population including ETL, data modeling, data mapping, and some enterprise data architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years experience in related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of three or more technologies preferred
  • Proven leadership ability preferred
  • Deep knowledge of integration tools and methodologies.
  • SQL server 2012, SSIS and SSRS experience required. BizTalk experience would e helpful.
  • Must be comfortable data modelling, tracking data lineage, and doing data mappings.
  • Experience with either Embarcadero, ERwin or Sparx
  • Experience developing with both SSDT and SSDT-BI (SSIS).
  • Proven experience refactoring databases, ETL, and reports.
  • Experience with Big Data processing paradigms, e.g. Elastic Search
  • Maintain an enterprise data dictionary which will include field definitions, ETL data mappings and rules
  • Maintain the enterprise reporting catalogue and documentation for Tableau dashboards.
  • Experience with TFS for source control and project management.
