What Enterprise Architecture contributes to Cardinal Health
Enterprise Architecture is responsible for defining the architectural models, governance, and transition initiatives needed to effectively coordinate stakeholders toward a common goal. Enterprise Architecture has responsibility for all of the architecture domains including business, application, information, technology, and security architecture.
Demonstrates deep competence in one or more domains of enterprise architecture such as business, application, information, technology and security architecture.
Effectively communicates and influences others towards moving to future state architectures.
Produces IT strategies and roadmaps in their architecture domains based on business strategy, business and IT trends, and current and future architectures.
Evaluates and obtains alignment on technology standards, patterns, and reference architecture.
Builds solution architectures that align requirements, reference architectures design patterns and technology standards to achieve solution agility and speed to implementation.
Ensures project adherence during solution build and implementation.
Accountabilities in this role
Responsibility for assessing and analyzing a variety of data sets, creating database platforms, new software applications, and staging data across HAMC HEOR and Commercial line of business.
Able to clearly discuss and communicate data analytic issues and concerns
Understand the current competitive landscape, as well as, understanding dynamics of the changing market landscape
Develop and lead the process of identifying, vetting and refining new data architect solution ideas
Able to collaborate effectively with other IT departments within Cardinal Health
Bachelor's Degree, technology certificate preferable with a focus in healthcare
3-7 years’ experience within healthcare and/or pharmaceutical experience
Experience as a Solution Architect and/or Enterprise Architect in two or more architecture domains: Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Integration Architecture
Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
Effective analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and coordinate efforts with colleagues from several functional areas.
Works independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in the fast paced environment.
Ability to achieve results.
Clearly and concisely communicate ideas, facts, and technical information to management, as well as other internal customers both verbally and written.
