What Program and Project Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Program/Project Management is responsible for planning, developing, communicating, implementation, and evaluating programs that involve working with external entities and their corresponding resources as well as with the company's internal resources. May manage project and/or program managers within assigned program and/or project. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Accountabilities in this Role

  • Planning and execution of key projects that drive top line growth and lower our cost to serve while improving the customer experience
  • Pro-actively drive simplification and process efficiency as well as implementation of enabling tools that support that effort
  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues identified during deployment of projects
  • Interact effectively with all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Work independently and make sound decisions expeditiously
  • Prioritize requests effectively, understand the importance and meet deadlines
  • Adapt quickly to shifting requirements and priorities
  • This position will primarily be based out of Louisville, KY in a work from home capacity. However it is expected that this position will work out of our Radcliff KY Contact Center on a weekly basis.
  • Travel: 25%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years experience in related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Project Management experience
  • Disciplined execution, prioritization and results oriented skills
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to adapt to shifting requirements or priorities
  • Ability to work independently
