What the Profile Coordinator contributes to Cardinal Health:
Profile Coordinator supports inventory planning, product deployment, and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a picking and stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on-time service requirements.

What is expected of you for success in your role:

  • Accurately and efficiently perform several operational tasks, including trouble-shooting and research.
  • Operates multiple types of material handling, packaging, and warehouse equipment.
  • Performs specialized inventory and warehouse operations/functions within the operating guidelines of the facility.
  • Identifies and presents process and inventory improvements for consideration and implementation.
  • Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills to various levels within the organization.
  • Implement and use of best practices, Kaizen blueprints, inventory operating systems, optricity, warehousing cubing, and other types of operating models and practices to improve inventory control.

Accountabilities in this role:

The Profile coordinator is responsible for item and systematic movement so that efficiencies are in place throughout the warehouse while maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels. Through their actions they must lead processes that ensure monitoring of inventory and avoid product damages or inventory shortages.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at elevated heights using rolling ladder, and walk regularly.
  • Ability to frequently analyze data, and execute critical thinking.
  • Repetitive motion on handling and moving product throughout the warehouse.
  • Lifting product up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to physically and systematically place product in its most optimal location.
  • Responsible for making warehouse improvements and efficiencies through the work of Profiling.
  • Follow FIFO rotation and product dating movement processes and strategies.
  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of physical inventories.
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a teamwork environment.
  • Demonstration of our Cardinal Health values, including enthusiasm, trust, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, and proficient in math and reading.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills required.
  • Inventory control experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. (basic intermediate knowledge of excel preferred).
  • AS400 (Distrack) experience preferred.
  • Self-driven, self-reliant, and self-directed is a requirement.
  • Passion and excitement for Profiling work.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Passion for supporting both our internal and external customers.
  • Passion and excitement for supporting the operations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
